We’ve all read the stories and heard tales of unscrupulous breeders and poorly treated puppies. Poor animals inbred, overbred and abused all in the name of profit. Still people are buying puppies from the ‘chap down the road’, or from a newspaper ad, or from what they think is a reputable breeder, but in fact it is the front for a puppy farm.
If you are in the UK and have purchased a puppy up to 6 months old in the past 5 years then please complete this survey www.surveymonkey.com/s/puppysurvey
The survey has been set up by Naturewatch Foundation, together with animal welfare groups PupAid, C.A.R.I.A.D, The Karlton Index, Canine Action UK and Hidden-in-Sight. The aim is to better understand UK consumer practices; how they made their choices and what outcomes they experienced. The data will be used to help us create a sound strategy to tackle the issue of puppy farming.
